I want to tell you all a story about a woman who was battered by someone she trusted. She trusted him with her life, and the life of their infant.
One night, her child was battered, slammed several times down on a bed because he wouldn't stop crying. An infant only months old.
On that night, I was working at the Jail. I overheard the man speaking to his wife on the jails phone. His one phone call, and he calls her at the Hospital.
He threatened to kill her, all her kids, her family...then begged her to come throw his bail.
Unbelieveable?

On this peticular case, several years down the line, I met the woman in the strangest of places. She was a member of my Starfleet Group. We visited the local Children's Hospital , in Uniform, to play with terminally ill kids. She was dedicated to it.
I began writing her story then. I've been trying to write it for several years while fighting for my own children.
I wanted to give the proceeds from that book to her.
The Child survived, but as most people know, Shaken Baby Syndrome has a terrible end result. The child was left almost blind, deaf, mentally handicapped, never have a normal life expectancy.
The worst part of this story is that, recently, a Law Firm, which I refuse to give ANY publicity to, took those words from that woman's story, and used them in a court of Law against me, so that the woman claiming to be my son's wife could obtain a Restraining Order against me.
That Mother, and that Child, because the Attorneys violated my COPYRIGHT, and bastardized her story in a court of law, making the words public domain, will never get a dime. Not from her own story at least.
Shameless people.
You should be ashamed.
Your entire Law firm should have a Gallagher "Stupid" arrow stuck to your car trunks.
You line your pockets with the grief of others.
You have NO MORALS.
You attempt to defy the law, well...this time you aren't going to get away with it.
You see, that story, along with every other story I write, was stored on hard disc and under my copyright since 2000.
YOU WILL CEASE AND DESIST from printing, copying, or even speaking the words of any story that I write.
Tsk. Tsk. INDEED.
Why don't you just make yourself seem human again and donate ALL THE FUNDS you receive (in this case involving me) to SBS at the local Childrens Hospital?
